An animal disease outbreak is a serious threat to public safety, our food, and the economy. Mixing animals and people at livestock events increase the risk for disease outbreaks. This means people who organize, volunteer, and respond to an emergency at livestock events need consistent training to “Prepare2Respond” to an animal disease outbreak.
Prepare2Respond modules are here to help you answer these questions, build the right team and develop a plan to respond to livestock disease outbreaks at your local event!
